The buried battles.

The fights fought with silent fire.

The significant struggles that remain unknown to all others,

but are tattooed, branded, burned into my brain,

forever imprinted on my mind,

ingrained in me.

My personality and my past are the same,

intertwined,

integrated,

one.

A constant reminder.

A token to show the defeat of trauma.

A symbol of survival.
