Stuck

Stuck

By: Talya Langer

I feel stuck,

stagnant,

still,

unwilling to lift a limb,

to move a muscle.

Nowhere to go,

no direction,

no action.

I always thought that there were two directions.

Two options,

two sides.

I could go to the left, where nothing is right

or go to the right, where nothing is left.

I could choose a side, but neither would serve a purpose

But what I didn't expect was that there were more options.

I didn't know that I could go

forward.
